Our History
Virtuous Women asks, “How can I support myself and other women achieve optimal health and happiness?” Samantha Daniels, the founder and chair of the conference, asked this question when she relocated to Austin, Texas almost five years ago. She and a small circle of women met weekly to mentor one another. The slogan, “Find a Mentor... Be a Mentor.” has come to characterize their lives as a network of support. Some of us have overcome our fear of doctor visits, of continuing education as single or working moms, and of accessing care and treatment, Samantha states. Ultimately, we empowered one another through frequent communication to uncover our hidden strength and to maximize economic and health outcomes.
Our Vision
Virtuous Women’s vision statement is to inform, inspire and empower, women to achieve their optimum potential, spiritually, financially, professionally and personally. Virtuous Women will provide a wide variety of activities including mentoring, leadership training, college and career coaching, family enrichment activities, financial planning activities and special events offered to women in a safe, structured, fun environment. Virtuous Women want to bring the Women of the world together in order to receive & give Inspiration in the areas of Self-Esteem, Empowerment, Purpose, Passion and Personal Prosperity. Virtuous Women encourages and educate women to empower themselves and take ownership of their life’s direction.
Our Mission
The Virtuous Women’s seeks to empower women in the area of their personal finances and health. One of the primary goals is to increase local and national HIV/AIDS awareness as a form of communication to decrease myths, stigma, and fears of this communicable disease.
